The undulating interior layer of each 118 carries the ghost of the steel cage used in its formation. Air blown into its core pushes the molten glass into the recesses of the cage. Gravity and heat coax these unpredictable, multifarious tendrils to elongate, following the initial shape the steel has set for it. That cage, sheared off in a final step, is cleaned and used to seed another 118.

From the weather outside our workshop, to the glassblower’s mood, to the chemical composition of the glass, each 118 takes form in response to numerous uncontrollable factors and exists in a multiple of one.

Conceived in 2022. Launched in 2023.

Nature is always an inspiration for design. Lily of the Valley and its floating flowers became the muse for our new pendant series, Lily. Organic and whimsical, the white opal glass “flowers” cascade into your interiors suspended from brass “pods” to create a fun and unique focal fixture. Modifications to fill large volume spaces are encouraged.

The Oru collection from designer Patricia Urquiola is strongly influenced by the design of the 70’s and is also inspired by a certain Japanese feeling and mood. A vigorous, iconic and bold design in which the striking architecture of the three legs is reminiscent of the shape of an oar, and is the result of precise wood craftsmanship.
